The Chicago Bears will travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers on Sunday Night Football.
The Bears are coming into the game with a 1-0 record after upsetting the San Francisco 49ers, 19-10, at home, in brutal conditions. Meanwhile, the Packers are 0-1 after the Minnesota Vikings’ 23-7 beatdown.
It looks like Aaron Rodgers is really missing his favorite target and receiver, Davante Adams. Will he be able to overcome the lack of star power at wide receiver and help the Packers earn a win over the Bears at home?

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears Prediction
It will be challenging to evaluate the Chicago Bears after Week 1. The Bears defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 19-10, in a pool of water on Sunday.
In Chicago, it was pouring rain, which led to the field turning into puddles of water. These conditions weren’t excellent, but the Bears still found a way to win.
Because the weather was so bad, quarterback Justin Fields completed just eight passes on 17 attempts. He still threw two touchdowns and had 121 yards passing. However, he never got his number one target, Darnell Mooney involved, who had just one catch on the afternoon.
The offensive line protected Fields in the passing game well. The run block also wasn’t entirely bad. There were a lot of questions coming into the season about this Bears offensive line. But they did well enough, in the pouring rain, to help the Bears secure a victory.
We can expect the Bears to throw the ball more down the field. Mooney should get involved more in the offense and tight end Cole Kmet. Despite their inactivity last week, I’m not worried about those two players.
Defensively, the Bears struggled to stop the run from the Niners. Tackling was also poor, but what do you expect in those conditions? Overall, the Bears held the 49ers to 10 points and did what they needed.
Meanwhile, the Packers only scored one touchdown despite earning 371 yards of offense against Minnesota. Rodgers was sacked four times in the loss and finished with a QBR of 16.1. The number one target for Rodgers was A.J. Dillon, the team’s running back.
Number one wideout, Allen Lazard, didn’t play last week and is questionable this week. Lazard has chemistry with Rodgers but won’t bring Davante Adams-like production to the team.
The Packers ran the ball effectively with Dillon and Aaron Jones. Jones averaged 9.8 yards per carry and Dillon averaged 4.5 yards per carry. Against the Bears, the Packers might want to consider running the ball more.
Last week, they ran 18 times but averaged 6.2 yards per carry. As those wide receivers develop, the Packers need to earn yardage on the ground.
I’m not the biggest Bears fan, and we don’t have a great read on the Bears just yet for Sunday. However, the Bears should be prepared against the Packers to at least cover the spread. There’s no way the Packers should be 10-point favorites without scoring 10 points the week before.
